God of light,
With each new dawn your mercies fill our lives anew.
With each rising of the moon we can rest peacefully in
your care. Every day is a gift from you. Thank you
for all that we enjoy, including this food.

for you love every living thing.

God,
Our stomachs grumble when we need food. May our
spiritual hunger be as noticeable to us so we may feast
on your word and be filled with your presence. Thank you
for both this physical food and the spiritual nourishment
we receive from you.

Generous grace

O God, who made the world and everything in it,
who is Lord of heaven and earth, you give to all
mortals life and breath and all things. We praise your
sovereign power. Thank you for these gifts from your
creation and the nourishment it will give us to
continue worshiping you.

God,
Some days are gloomy, some days are great,
some days we'd rather stay in bed.
But whether our day's good or bad
we thank you for our daily bread.

Gracious God,
You have made the earth with everything to supply
our needs. Bless and prosper those who farm and
fish and work the earth to feed us. Bless this food
that comes from their hard work.

Abundant grace

Bountiful God,
The abundance on this table shows how much you
care for us. Thank you for all you give us. May we
share our abundance generously with those who
have less. Give us courage to share the good news
of Jesus' love with those who do not know him.
