We are thankful for times like this
to enjoy good food and to get to know

Some might say we have more than others
because we are not so lazy. It could just be
that life has been more kind to us,
or we were lucky enough to be born
in a better place. Whatever the reason,
God, may we do our best to share our wealth
with those who are poor, as we pray
for the day when all who hunger will be filled.

The birds of the air, the creatures of the sea,
